I like to blow off steam by solving (and occasionally writing) puzzles. I compete most years in the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament, as well as participate in various in-person and online puzzle hunts, such as the MIT Mystery Hunt.
I am a semi-active member of both the National Puzzlers’ League (nom de plume Extra Credit) and LearnedLeague (username ShupeE).
From 2022-2023, I co-organized the Fort Worth chapter of Puzzled Pint with my good friend Dave Millar.
